PVC Insulated Outer Protection 90°Elbow refers to a short radius elbow with a curvature radius equal to one times the diameter of the pipe; also known as 1D.
The curvature radius of the elbow is equal to one times the diameter of the pipe. Typically, it has a 90° angle. Visually, the short radius elbow appears much shorter and has a tighter curvature radius compared to a long radius elbow. After being covered with insulation, the curvature radius of the short radius elbow is less than one times the diameter of the pipe.
